Celeste is a doe who's pretty balanced in all areas of the scorecard, with an excellent mammary system. She was a fall freshening yearling who milked through as a 2 year old. When she freshened again as a 3 year old, I knew that she was looking pretty good, but for the first couple of shows I just couldn't get the timing right for filling her udder. After I took the time to actually get that right though, she did extremely well at the final 2 shows of the year, taking 1st place in all 5 rings between both shows, and going on to be Grand or Reserve in 4 of those.
As a 4 year old 3rd freshener, Celeste finished her permanent championship in the first ring of the first show, and was the 2nd place 4 year old at the 2025 CA State Fair, behind herdmate Lightning Sprite.
