Boulder Oaks Pluto

Pluto is a combination of both of my strongest dam lines, but also provides some new blood from his grandsires on both sides of his pedigree. As a late June kid, he was too immature to be used in the 2023 breeding season, but he's all grown up and ready to work now!

His dam, GCH Boulder Oaks Cassiopeia 1*M EX91 is from the incredibly consistent Shadow-Hills Myriah line, while his sire is a son of GCH(pending) Shadow-Hills Songbird 2*M EX92, who is currently the only doe in the herd to appraise at 92, as well as the only doe in the herd with a complete lactation of over 3,000 lbs.

His grandsire on his sire's side, SG +*B Kastdemur's Vicco is an Elite Sire with many beauftiful and proven offspring, as well as the son of the 2019 ADGA Reserve National Champion. His other grandsire, +*B Vineyard View Double Espresso, also has a strong pedigree of high quality does, is a linebreeding on SG ++*B Kastdemur's Rhone, and has produced several daughters in the herd who have all been successful in the show ring, milk production, and linear appraisal.

Pluto's first kid crop hit the ground in 2025, and I really like what I see from his kids! They excel in general appearance, with strong feet and legs, wide and flat rumps, and very correct rear leg sets with high and open escutcheons. I did keep one daughter from him, and she was Junior Champion and Best Doe in Show her first time out at a show, and later ended up being the 1st place Intermediate Kid at the '25 CA State Fair!
