Tuvalu's dam line is one that I really admire! Starting with his dam, Kastdemur's Lanai 5*M VG87(FF) who is pictured above, I love so much about her, especially her incredibly level lactation. She had a very succesful show career as a junior doe, including a Best Junior Doe in Show win and being the 3rd place Senior Yearling at the 2023 ADGA National Show. Lanai's dam, GCH Kastdemur's Riviera 4*M EX92, was an ADGA National show class winner, and finished her championship as a first freshening 2 year old, even picking up a Best in Show win that year. SGCH Kastdemur's Avena 3*M EX91 was the 2012 ADGA National Champion. Tuvalu is heavily line-bred on Avena, as she shows up twice on his dam's side and twice on his sire's side of the pedigree too! Avena's dam, SGCH Kastdemur's Evian 2*M EX94, was the 2006 ADGA Reserve National Champion as well as the 2008 AND 2009 ADGA National Champion.
On his sire's side, +B Autumn-Acres Titanium has produced some phenomenal animals for the Kastdemur herd, including GCH Kastdemur's Mambo #5 6*M EX93, the 2023 ADGA National Champion and Best Udder. Titanium was also the 2023 ADGA National Premier Sire and has 3 other national class-winning daughters.
Tuvalu himself was a big single kid, and he's so incredibly growthy, weighing in at over 120 lbs at just 4 months of age! He's long and tall with a wide flat rump, lots of width and openness in the escutcheon, and I'm very much looking forward to seeing his kids!
