Moonpie has always been a flashy little kid, both as a standout in the group for her correct structure as well as having a giant black spot right in the middle of her back. I did not show any of my kids at the local shows in 2023, but she did go to the ADGA National Show, where she was the 9th place Intermediate Kid.
​
In 2024, she was my first pick of her age group and was my sole dry yearling entry for the very first show of the year at the Mid-State Dairy Goat Show, where she was selected as the LaMancha Junior Champion and then went on to be named BEST JUNIOR DOE IN SHOW! Moonpie is bred to *B Boulder Oaks Mars for 2025 kids.

Moonpie had triplets as a first freshening 2 year old, and that coupled with the three times a day milking that I decided to try out this year allowed her to come right out of the gate with a very strong first lactation that currently has her on track to potentially produce over 3,000 lbs of milk in 305 days. She jumped around in placing a lot in the show ring, bouncing from the head of the line to the back of it at different shows, but after fully recovering from kidding, she was the 2nd place with 2nd Udder 2 year old at the 2025 CA State Fair!
